For Clark's actual birthday he chose breakfast at McDonalds (BIG SHOCKER!!) It made me so happy that he also wanted to stop at the park to play for a while (made me realize that he's not TOO grown up yet...) Next stop was Penn Square Mall to check out the new Lego store to spend some birthday money. He has been looking forward to the opening of the store for months and it was all the better that he had $$$ to spend (thanks to all the grandparents and a great-aunt!) We looked at every item in that store at least 3 times before he made his selection- a medieval village, a Lego watch and several new little people that he got to create himself. His final activity- the water park had to be re-scheduled due to a freakish thunder storm we had that afternoon. We plan to have a Clark Mallett Day- part 2 next week!
