On his actual birthday Grant got to pick the day's agenda. The first stop was iHop for breakfast, where he ordered his usual pancake platter covered in chocolate chips and whip cream. That was just the first dose of sugar for the day's HIGH! I mentioned that it was his birthday so before we left, the servers all gathered around to sing Happy Birthday to him (he almost DIED of embarrassment!) and gave him a hot fudge sundae (dose #2). After that we hit Target to spend some birthday money (more video games, of course) then went to Frontier City. For dinner he chose a new restaurant in OKC called BJ's, then we came home to begin a marathon video game session. Pretty good day for an 11-year-old, I'd say!
